New revenge porn laws went into effect
LINK
I expect cdaniel to be the first TD'er arrested for this for spreading LLotOT nudes.
quote:
Anyone who shares a nude or partially-nude cellphone picture or video without permission - often an attempt at public shaming called “revenge pornography” - will now face up to two years in jail and a fine reaching $10,000.
Laws already on the books made it a crime to send a nude image of someone under the age of 17. The new law criminalizing “nonconsensual disclosure of a private image” is aimed at protecting people who aren’t minors. Exceptions are included for police investigations and people who intentionally expose themselves in public.

I agree with your future assumption.

What a bs law. You consent when you hit send to that first person.
Posted on 8/2/15 at 7:46 am to stout
I always leave the country to click the 'send' command.

Ex post facto....the law would only apply to actions made after in went into effect.

Yes...
How they hell are they going to prove it anyway? It's going to be a he said/ she said thing. You think falsely accusing guys of rape is a problem? Wait until these little jaded skanks get dumped.

You sir apparently have more common sense than every lawmaker that voted that law into effect.

That is a creepy dude. Was not surprised to see he was a four hundred pound man ruining socks in the blind to llotot pics. Lol

This is definitely an unfortunate side effect of dealing with an actual issue. I can't wait to see the double standard when it involves a man. No one better share my dick pics!

I think the target is the people who sell pics/vids to porn sites without the knowledge of that person. That's what this covers in states with the same law.
ETA:
Side note. Some loser from my home town was sleeping aroun with a few trashy women, feeding the the usual lines. One found out about the others; she signed on to his Facebook account, changed the password, and posted all of his dick pics he sent to her. shite was funny. Not sure how that would work into this law.

Has anyone opined whether this law is even constitutional?
Seems you would lose your right to privacy if you knowingly send a nude pic.
