Baton Rouge permit office resubmission time?

I have a commercial project (approx 10,000sf retail center) coming out of the ground. The architect has just resubmitted revised drawings for the job to the city permit office this morning (so they say). Anyone have any insight as to how long getting the permit would take after resubmitting the plans? I have foundation forms set and plumber has started underground work but can't call for inspection until permit is approved!
Thanks
Thanks

Have you called them and asked whats the turnaround time is of late?
Last week they were running around 6 weeks for residential. Good luck dealing with the commercial division, they are the worst.

I went to their office last week to ask about a foundation only permit but was told no (didn't get a good explanation but something about that would take even longer). I was told they would get on it as soon as they received the drawings. That's all they would say

Talk to Mrs. Gail. Shes usually very helpful up there and should be able to give you more insite to where the plans stand.
You can also follow your permit on line and that will outline everything that is needed so you can make sure you have everything to keep it moving smoothly. Trust me they will frick something up or lose some paperwork you gave them.
Good Luck

Go ahead, commercial plan review will not answer the phone.
6-8 weeks initially and at least 4 between resubmissions. I've had a small project before them via my government.com since early Aug.
Swamped after flood is the excuse.
