Would love to keep it in Louisiana, but I doubt people would go in Baton Rouge.

Maybe Shreveport is the best case here. Also might help get more people in North LA interested in the Pels.

Would be surprised if they ended up in BR mainly because minor league teams don't usually do well in towns where there is a major college that plays the same sport. I'm thinking it ends up in Pensacola or Shreveport.

I guess they would play in the Centroplex/Raising Cane's/River Center?

I never understood why BR has never had a minor league team with Marricui, Youth ball leagues complexes, Lsu etc. clearly, there is a following that will support a team.

I wouldn't mind going to a few D-league games at the River Center.

It would be hard for minor league baseball to work.
It's so hot during the summer and the afternoon rains really make it difficult on the home schedule during the summer.

If you think BR can support a minor league team, go take a look at what the New Orleans Baby Cakes attendance is, it's bad!

Captains, Mudbugs, Mavericks, Battlewings, etc. Shreveport is not a sports town. Anywhere but Shreveport would be better. I think Alexandria or Lafayette would be good places in all honesty.

ETA: From the list Pensacola hands down.

The D league games I've seen on tv look like they're in a high school gym.
