BATON ROUGE - Two teenagers were arrested, accused of home invasion Friday afternoon.

Corey Wiliams and Baylen Trim were charged with armed robbery, simple battery of persons with infirmities and resisting arrest. Saturday is Williams' birthday.

Deputies said a 79-year-old woman in the 10000 block of Woodland Oaks Drive said she answered her doorbell and Williams and Trim forced their way inside her home. She said one of them stuck a gun in her chest and pushed her to the ground. She told investigators, they demanded money from her purse but were not happy when she gave them $200.

The woman said one of the intruders exclaimed, "this is not all you have," and she gave them $3,000 from a drawer.

The home invasion happened in a newer development of homes along Clay Cut Bayou between Siegen and Bluebonnet and I-10 and Airline.

I wonder how they knew she had more money in the house. Either they knew her, or know someone that knew she had significant cash in the house.

They had to have been tipped off on that house. Given the location of it and the "we know you've got more money than this" statement.

Foolish. And this is why whenever you're doing a deal, always ask, "Is this the absolute best you can do?"...

Saw their heads off and mount them on pikes as an example

People like that offer no benefit to society and their deaths would only serve to improve the quality of the human race if they can be removed from the gene pool before they breed.

Yeah, I've been through that neighborhood a time or two. It's rather cookie cutter but definitely not the neighborhood where you would see two juveniles of that demographic walking down the street and not question their presence.

Across the street from a friend of mine. He isn't too happy and his whole family is loaded for a war.

I'm by no means diminishing the seriousness of this invasion in a safe neighborhood. But these guys were tipped that there was a few thousand bucks in cash there.

Crazy thing is I saw one of the two get arrested behind the Yamaha dealership, I think it is, on Airline. I was wondering what happened. He had a brown paper bag that he tossed as the cops cornered him. He didn't get that far. Haha
