Baton Rouge has seen three armed gas station robberies today. (BOLO Added to OP)

This morning the Circle K on the corner of Highland/Lee was robbed. This afternoon, the Shell on the corner of Sherwood Commons/Coursey was robbed, and just minutes ago the Circle K on the corner of Jefferson/Lobdell across from Towne Center was robbed at gunpoint.

They just announced that the Jefferson robbery is the same from this morning at the Highland/Lee robbery.
Black male with the name of Keith Williams. Drives a flat black Honda Civic with Georgia license plate QFL 6040 or Texas plates GVC 2489. That's the best I could get from the scanner. Said he's good for ten armed robberies at this point.
The Honda and Civic logo on the back are painted black. Also has dent on rear bumper.

Those are all areas where whites still go in BR. If this happened it should be big news.

Chevron at Bluebonnet/I10 was robbed a few days ago, just before I put BR in the rearview mirror with my middle finger in the air.

Google maps proves you correct. Traffic stacking up in the area meaning that everyone is looking at the pretty blue lights, including the robber.

Robberies are serial in nature for the most part, so your first sentence was correct.
We know who he is. Transient frickers living pillar to post aren't as easy to "find" as those of us with ties (friends, jobs, family) to the community.
And fwiw, a robbery is a Violent crime not a property crime.
