Barrett-Jackson car auction in Scottsdale (updated OP for today)

Fox channel from 2-4pm.
NatGeo channel from 4-11pm.
Alright well Saturday is the big day for the auction, especially tonight. Didnt really have a bunch of big money cars last night. I think about 30 went into 6 figures. Well that will be blown away tonight. Once they get to the salon collection, many cars will be fetching 7 figures. So yea when the salon cars start rolling in, if youre on the bidding floor, you pretty much wipe your arse with money.

Bidding went to almost 5 million. Can probably google a video of it. You gotta get the video from the TV broadcast though. One of the ones online is from some other feed

Batmobile went for $4.6 mil last year. I go every year and it wasn't very impressive up close.

The car. It was more like a hollywood prop than something you would ever drive. Buttons and shite glued on. Handmade stickers put on crooked. Looks great on TV but not good up close.

That is true. And while I'm sure many actually go to buy a car, I'm sure there are many, many more that go just to be able to say they went and check out all the amazing cars there in person.
