Anybody can recommend good reliable company that does patio/paver work in the metro area?
Honestly, if youre below Lake P I wouldnt use pavers. The ground is always saturated and it moves too much for pavers to be a longer term ground option. Lay concrete on dry, non-ponding, well-drained, UNDISTURBED soil then set your pavers on top of that. The concrete should have plenty of steel in it and utilize keyways to divide the sections with no length of more than 12'. If youre going to drive on it use transfer dowels between the sections.

Brandon with Quality Gutters & Patio built my patio in the backyard. They put gutters down two runs (one house and one on the patio itself to tie into the one on the house) and then put up an attached insulated patio.
A few thoughts:
1.) Most of the folks I talked to last August/September were backed up several weeks with a book of business in front of me. Whomever you go with remember you probably need to make a decision and get in line if you want it before fall to be able to enjoy it all before cooler weather.
2.) Go insulated. I cannot stress this enough. The quotes I got each effectively doubled when I went from regular corrugated metal patios to insulated patios. No matter. The extra expense in South Louisiana is worth it. It's a no brainer. If you don't believe me, go find one of each. Just sit under them. It makes a difference and anyone that says different is lying.
3.) Make sure you get a recommendation for an electrician while you're at it. If you're extending your patio you are going to eventually want to plug things in like bug zappers, outdoor lighting, TV's, etc etc. Have him lined up to come out there as they're putting in the patio in to figure out how much you want done will set you back.
4.) Make sure your patio company installs an option that allows you to hang a fan(s). It will make a massive difference. This ties into #3.
5.) Figure out how you want to light things out there. You may need a fan with a light. They can end up hanging lower and that sucks. We hung these around the edge of the patio and between that and/or the TV when we are outside we have everything we need lighting-wise.

I have been told by 3 different people that a company called "Smith and Baker" do a damn good job. They are in the BR area.
