Barton Springs is cool to kill an hour at if it's a nice day
For sure go check out Rainey Street, it's a different vibe but a great setup. It's basically a bunch of old houses that have been turned into bars.
Oh and climbing the tree outside at Stubs during a show is not recommended. They don't like that at all

Thanks! However it's booked for our weekend. And the SXSW rates are ridiculous! We have a few options that we have put in requests for so far. Thanks to everyone for the clarity on the BS "related dwellers" rule.
