I live in Mississippi. There are a lot of jobs out there that require a college education strictly because employers are looking to thin the herd of applicants.
Any job that actually makes use of the skills learned in college should pay minimum 45,000, but most grads are lucky to make 25k in my state.

The legal profession is the worst. They have a bunch of old fart attorneys who don't do shite at firms. They get a few young attorneys to do their jobs for them for peanuts compared to what they make. Most of these partners aren't even particularly smart.
