Going this weekend with my family and hoping to hear some past experiences in regards to the events offered. Definitely hitting the Aquarium and Coca Cola Tour. Is CNN worth the time, College Football HOF seems like a good one as well. Hard to beat the ticket for 75.00 for 5 events.

It's pretty cool. CNN is actually neat if you've never been in or near a news room or fake news room. Coca-Cola and aquarium are a must.
If the Braves are in town, you must go see that small city and stadium they built.
FTR: I don't live in ATL, but I visited there this summer. So this is just my humble opinion.

Personally, I think cnn is over rated.

The CFHF is great but will only take a couple hours, the aquarium could take you longer depending on what you are wanting to do. Coke is pretty cool.

This. The back of the stadium is like a small carnival. It's really designed for families and kids. Has a bunch of carnival games, a zip line and amazing food. The outside of the stadium is like a small city with all the shops and restaurants

ehh...that's if your kids play with every little thing. IMO the CFHF is kind of lame.

How old are your kids. You could hit up the Tellus Science Museum, Fernbank Natural History, the Zoo, the Children's Museum, and Stone Mountain.

CFHF

I don't think it's lame, but there is only so much you can do to keep it fresh. I'm a bigger CFB fan than an appreciator of fine art, but I'll go to the High once a year for exhibits

I went to the HOF once 2 years ago, and probably won't go back until I have to entertain someone. It is worth doing, however (once).

Are either of the young ones Hunger Games fans?

If so, the front of a certain museum has the potetial for them to insert themselves into certain crtical scenes from Hunger Games.

Have you ever been to Canton or Cooperstown? CFHF sucks in comparison. They are adding more memorabilia, etc.. but they have it in what looks like a storage room.

Pretty much everything at the HF is digital content. The top floor sucks except you can see some of the trophies. The second and main floor is centered around keeping kids busy with not much substance.

Check out the botanical gardens(they have beer and wine) and Piedmont park and grab a bite. You can also rent bikes. Go on the beltline and eat at Ponce City Market or Krog Street market

If you are fans of the Walking Dead, you can hit up Senoia GA, which is south of Atlanta, and take the tour of the sets and whatnot.
