I'm going to guess that this is actually a source of revenue due to fines, which would explain why it is done with such zealotry.

I thought it was crazy how they went to places like copelands bistro and other restaurants to test them. So are the underage kids that they use just getting free meals all over Baton Rouge?

They went to the ISLAND COUNTRY CLUB in Plaquemine. A damn golf course. That really makes me scratch my head and, while on the subject, is it really a priority if a 18 year old has a cold beer while playing a round? It's just fricking UnAmerican to prohibit that. They want us to raise a bunch of communists?

Of course they do. But they don't put it out on display for just everyone. When you go in there...tell "Q" that you want the good shite and slide the guy a $20. He'll take you in back and hook you up with some serious meat.

I can't get over some of the places getting popped, like Wal-Mart and Albertson's. I'm literally a graybeard and I've had to show an ID at Wal-Mart. And I'm usually buying beer along with a shopping cart full of stuff. My wife regularly gets asked for her ID at those stores -- she's in her late 30s. (She looks 10 years younger than her actual age, but even so, that would put her in her late 20s.) They must have gone to those places a bunch of times looking for a weak cashier.

I'm also bummed about Radio Bar getting popped. I hope the "Won't someone think of the children?" crowd won't use that to dick over the beer garden those guys want to open.

In curious as to how the alcohol they buy in the busts gets distrubuted after a hearing or whatever else they could need it for evidence

Uh, boss, we need to go undercover and play a round at the country club. Word on the street is those cart girls are running moonshine.

This is why the drinking age should be 18. Does anyone really believe this is about public safety?

Don't get me started on that shite. You get all the rights of adulthood at the age of 18, but you can't buy alcohol. Makes zero sense. If you can serve in the military, get married, vote, get sent to prison, pay taxes, serve on a jury, you ought to be able to buy a beer.
