Alzheimers doesn't just rob people of their mind, but physically as well. So while he probably didn't know what he was really panting, he also likely didn't have that much control over his arms or hands either. It's a horrible disease. It trips me out they haven't made more advancement yet but that shite is worse than cancer.

People have no way to protect the way they're remembered. Makes them mean a lot of times. How shitty must it be to become an a-hole to your family and never be given any opportunity to make it right?

That sounds like a pretty self-aware thing for an Alzheimer's patient to be doing.

Y'all are some dumbasses.

I would imagine that he did the first one early in his "career" just to do it.

Then was diagnosed in '96 and did one each year thereafter.

Jeez

Pretty sure 1967 he didn't have it. That's the control. He was diagnosed in 1996.

Watched my grandfather die from this. Truly is the most horrible and cruel disease we humans can get. I'd take cancer any day over this. At least I can go out fighting and remember my loved ones and their memories.
