Fiancé wants to have a garage sale next weekend. We just moved and have a ton of shite/clutter we don't use and need to rid ourselves of. I've always thought they were trashy. I'd rather take everything we can to goodwill and pitch whatever they won't take.

What says the OT?

Yes, there is a reason why most HOAs do not allow them.

Of course they are. And you're trashy for having to ask such a stupid question.

Be prepared to deal with the scum of the earth. 90% will just annoy the shite out of you trying to get shite for free. I had one once and just told people no sale if they annoyed me with their complaining. Would rather give it to the needed than get hassled by some scum. And I set prices really low to just get rid of it

Not at all. Fire up your outdoor kitchen and make some extra bucks serving hotdogs to your guests while they shop.

Trashy people want money for their junk instead of helping the poor. Is your fiance's hair two different colors?

What do you do when someone needs the restroom? Or wants to try on a shirt before they pay 1.00 for it?

I just don't trust people enough to let strangers in & around my house like that.
