Pelican Sports Radio Network. He used to do his show live from Caddyshack on Siegen.

I know all those guys are just trying to make a living, but that has got to be a tough way to bring in any real cash.

To answer your question, I think they are all on 910AM, which used to be WLCS years ago in BR ..

Is Buddy still doing his show on that 50 Watt station down in Donaldsonville?

I don't even bother with AM. I guess there's a good reason why AM is still viable, but I don't know what that is.

When 1210 went down (which I believe it is actually going back to sports talk again, amazingly) .. Gordy Rush just shoved Fine, Krysan, and Songy aside in favor of Moscona, Ponamsky, Culotta, and Hanny ...

I commute about 1.5 hrs a day to work here in Hou so I listen to a sports show here on AM or the ESPN show on FM. I think the local AM guy here has a pretty good following.

When did 1210 go down? I thought 1300 was the one that went down after Gustav?

Krysan and Fine are terrible. Almost unlistenable. And I'm not picky. I can listen to songy, condon, mascona and ott with no problems but if John Fine's drivel enters my head I go into violent convulsions.

Two guys that will just NEVER give it up for some reason .. if they run out of options, they'll broadcast YMCA T-Ball games before calling it quits ..

They dropped sports for gospel music on Jan 1, 2012. I was driving south of town a couple of years ago and picked up Buddy's show. He was still doing his mostly infomercial show and he was in the middle of his Olinde's hour. It was a clear reminded of why he was on a station no one can hear.
