I've been interested in heading back that way. But I'm curious how the job market is looking.

That's what I'm talking about. Has that's broke ground yet?

I do pretty much anything structural qa, except for welding. Lately it's been a lot of bridges and roads. But I've done a lot of large buildings.

They are redoing the old world trade center into a hotel. Not sure how much structural mods will be needed though.

DPW/SWB has $2 billion in infrastructure construction projects scheduled to let over the next 2-3 years. (FEMA funded)

Work is underway on the $650 million Airport North Terminal Project but there is expected to be a couple hundred million more in highway work connecting the new terminal to the interstate.

4 seasons hotel on riverfront is finally a go.

Also some major work on the horizon with coastal flood protection.

Did that dumbasses lawsuit challenging this finally get tossed out?
This project could be well down the road on construction if that arse hadn't filed that bogus lawsuit to challenge it.

This will be a major big time project for Nola and is about 15 years overdue.
