Are their genetic differences between races? Or is it environment?

For instance:
Are Asians inherently more intelligent or is it the environment and upbringing?
Are Blacks more athletically gifted, or is it the environment?

The average black man is NO more athletically gifted (genetically) than I am
Wait what

The answers to your two questions are not mutually exclusive.
ETA: and whether there are genetic differences between races is not in question. The significance of those differences is what is questionable.

Well this should be a good thread to sit back and watch unfold... While it lasts anyway.

I didn't think people actually believed this until I started coaching.

Let's ask Jimmy the Greek.

It is true for every other animal on the planet, like dogs, that different breeds have different characteristics but if you say it about humans you will be crucified.

I don't get why we can't have a conversation about it? Are people that sensitive? (probably a dumb question)

There are obvious differences.
Environment plays a bigger role in outcomes, though.

Guessing you've never been to college and studied the human body

Of course they are genetic differences that have evolved with different ethnic groups throughout the world.

So many race threads today

Well look at it from a medical standpoint.
Certain diseases affect certain races more....
Ex: Sickle cell affects primarily blacks
Cystic Fibrosis affects primarily whites
Both genetic disorders

Okay. Why do people get offended when you say that people of Negroid (scientific term before some of you dumbasses RA) or sub-saharan descent are more quick twitch or athletically gifted? I mean, there's a reason why there isn't a single CB in the NFL who isn't black? Right?
