Pointless to me. They aren't funny and are generally just for people to call attention to themselves.

People like to see Avi's and sigs for instance. I have a very good feeling chicken is going to update mobile to where you can see Avi's and sigs and still have them be neatly compactly sized to fit the formatting of mobile. If he's planning ahead, he'll give people the option to turn them off and keep mobile view as it is.

The regular TD site is WAAAYYY better on iOS than the mobile site IMO. The mobile would be great if you had a flip phone though.
