Appartment Reccomendations near LSU?

Im gonna be a senior and Im moving out of my parents home. Ill have to pay for it myself. Does anyone know of any good places? sterling seems really exspensive (lazy river is cool tho). Wish I had roomates, but Ill have to do random. Im considering cottages or Univers. Crescent too. cant find houses. I wanted a party atmosphere (trying to make up for last 3 years). Also, what place has the best talent?

Cottages pool is one of my favorite places in Baton Rouge. No one can convince me otherwise.

Tiger Manor is pretty nice. Close enough to walk/bike to campus.

Have you tried just driving around looking for "for rent" signs on houses? How about Craigslist? There are always cheap houses on Jennifer Jean, and that's close enough to walk to campus.
For a great party atmosphere, try The Cottages or the Woodlands.
Part of Lake Beau Pre is also epic for partiers, but part of it is also very quiet, so make sure you're on the party side.
If you need to cheap out, but own a well maintain firearm, try Tigerland.
If you're a hippie, try finding rentals around State Street.
