Basically, an expert goes around trying to save small businesses that are failing.

Last night's episode was a rerun of the Swanson's Fish Market in Fairfield, CT episode. Family is crazy as all get out, and have no idea how to run a business - but Larissa, their daughter is smoking.

That guy may know what he's doing, but he's a douchebag. I'd rather go under than have him all up in my shite.

No he just doesn't put up with the owner's BS and there's usually a ton of it.

It's the owner's shite that gets them in the position to begin with and they ask for his help. He doesn't just show up at random businesses.

It amazes me how some idiots run a business... think that's why I watch. Marcus does make some really good changes but he pays for it. He spends a load on some of these places to get them renovated and back on track. Some stories are cool but some don't deserve to be in business.

Anyone watching this season?

Last night he went back to the Standard Burger and found out that the head Guido had been pulling a Fredo with one of the waitresses.

High entertainment when her dad showed up for his pound of flesh.

I like that the fish store's Yelp reviews include, "worth it just to meet the daughter".

Watch every episode as well. Episode is saved on my DVR. Marcus is super wealthy but apparently all he does is work and has no friends. Seriously.

I watch it or Dvr it. Learned some good things. What's annoying is that he introduces himself after the financial offer is accepted and tells all the employees how much money is involved Etc. And when he calls someone out he does it in front of everyone - sometimes I don't get his point of how he motivates employees - enjoy the show.
