Anyone use the IRS website to get a tax transcript before?

I go to their website where it tells me I can access my transcripts from previous years online instantly and for free but when I click the link to get the transcript it sends me to a prompt where my only option is by mail. Anyone ever go through this shite? I can't find the online retrieval prompt.

Apparently. It's odd though. I go to google and I see countless links from the IRS website and elsewhere saying I can get them online. I click on it and it brings me to the "by mail" prompt. Weird.

You can only order them online. It is not instant access. Or you can call the IRS office. Doesn't take long to receive them by mail.

I always have to get mine through the mail. If you ever find an online option let me know

Just fill out the request form and mail it in. Pretty easy

I had to get mine mailed to me.
