Im in 1552 right now but the test are on the computer therefore no partial credit so I'm a little worried about that. Just trying to see if anyone knows how difficult the independent study version was for this course.

Who is the instructor behind it? At one time it was Britt. If he is still there, no way in hell I would touch anything with that man's name on it.

Math shouldn't need partial credit. It's a language, you either get it right or you don't. Physics on the other hand is a bitch without it.

Seems easier to have a selection of answers to choose from. I think I could could guess well just seeing what they offer for answers.

Yeah so I'm pretty much feeling options out for re taking the class because the computer exams has me pretty worried. How many of y'all had to retake it? Anyone take it over the summer? I may do that if I can't get through it this semester.

No, no multiple choice. You have to enter the answer. One space off? Whole problem is wrong.

Did you not talk to an advisor before deciding on this?

Summer with an actual teacher will be better than what you're doing. Is it too late to switch to another section?

Calc 2 on the computer sounds like a terrible idea. Sounds like the teacher is just being a lazy arse and doesn't feel like grading.

How do you show integrals and limits of integration on a keyboard?

I'd assume it's easier anyway, they have to limited in what they ask for. I doubt they're making it harder, hell they just made a new engineering physics that's three classes instead of two to make it easier.

I'm sure they check every answer themselves, because the answer pages are so damn precise. They should go back and give you a correct answer if it's a lower case Cm instead of capital CM

All other sections are full. Maybe the online test will be easier but probably not. I can't seem to find anyone who has taken him to ask them how they are. The class is 150+ people. Instructor is Forrest

It won't be. If you can get out now without a W, I'd suggest you do that.

How could they make the class that much harder it seems like a ton of people would fail it. If the fail rate was high on paper and pencil test imagine having to get the exact answer on computer test.

Forrest is easy. If you can get hands on tests from noteswap or a test bank it's pretty much the same type problems
