Must have been mid 90's. Cattle where running wild all over downtown. He rolled over the westbound left right before the bridge.

Anyhow, here's the Russian version:

I was with the BRPD when one overturned near Drusilla amid all that construction and we chased cattle for 2 hours. I recall one at the 10-110 split, but not the details.

Wasn't that the Wingfield case? I worked for a law firm that dealt with that for the longest time. Never knew any details other than the truck tipped over and cows went crazy all over downtown.

In the 80's, one with corn tipped over in that same area. It all fell right near that playground. All the corn was gone within an hour.

Yep, that's the reason for the big concrete "screen" on the flyover.

I remember it happening in 1979/1980 or so. 10/110 split going west. Truck took the curve too fast. Cattle fell into the park below. Pretty crazy!

Funniest part of the episode I remember was that after several hours, there were still a few cows that were unaccounted for. Suddenly there was announcement made that the cattle were "experimental" and not suitable for consumption. Yeh, right.

Yeah, we had a couple of cowboys riding down our street north of the LSU lakes. Surreal. We moved to that house in 1992 and it was a year or two later (I think).
