If so, how do you like it? We need to get another vehicle to haul the family around.

We will probably go new. We are only getting one because my daughter will get my wife's car in August. It is a 2005 nissan altima with 120k. Good car, but we also need more room for trips and such.

Wife drives our 2014 daily and we use it to get around on weekends. We like it a lot. I don't drive it daily so I don't watch the gas mileage but we've taken it on a few weekend trips and i don't recall it being terrible.

It has everything we need with three kids and occasionally grandparents with us. Lots of room. Our kids are young so we didn't get the loaded package.

I would certainly recommend it.

The CVT is weird as hell when I test drove a 2014.

We have a 2015 model with all the bells and whistles. Fits the car seats just fine and is very comfortable. Plenty of room in the back for hauling groceries and kid stuff. Gas mileage is comparable to the last crossover types we had.

I'm a fan. If you have specific questions fire away.

My wife has Platinum Premium edition. Great vehicle, two years old and 24K miles. Smooth ride and has all the bells and whistles anyone could want or need.

We have a loaded 2013. My wife loves it. Never have had any issues. We about to have kid number 3 so we will see how it works then.

The new ones are a Nissan Quest van with doors that swing out.

My brother was looking at them. Check out the IIHS offset and overlap crash tests for that platform. If you can get past that, it's probably an okay minivan crossover thing.

We have two kids in car seats and 1 teenager. Is the rear seat hard to get into? I'm assuming you have the platinum model, about what did you end up paying, if you don't mind?

Does the back up camera help a lot? Did you get the entertainment package installed?

We currently have 2005 and 2006 Altima V6s, both have been great cars bought used.

We have an 08 and it's been great. The new one's are CUV's I believe. I prefer the new Explorer.

Have you driven both? What do you prefer about the Explorer?

We got the platinum premium with 4WD and the family entertainment package. It has everything. The 3rd row isn't too bad but I only have 2 kids so we have not used in other than when we were test driving it.

The back up camera Is cool and it has a birds eye view which makes it really easy for my wife to parallel park.

I used the Will Cover car buying method and ended up getting it for 40k out the door.

In the process I walked out of two dealerships and got a sales manager fired.

I plan on employing that method also. I probably won't get the 4wd since I don't have anything to pull. They have 0% financing going on right now, but I want to see what deal I can get before bringing that up.

We are looking at the platinum or sl packages. Wife wants bluetooth, etc.

Google "Nissan CVT transmission problems". earlier Nissan models with CVT have had some issues. Nissan has extended powertrain warranty to help mitigate problems.
