I don't see what the problem is (other than the annoyance). Just don't answer it. No more difficult than when you're at home

My cell phone is my work phone. I've got clients all over the country. So I need to answer all calls. It's been incredibly annoying.

I got about 6 today but I got 3 back to back to back this afternoon. Arizona, Wisconsin and New Jersey. All within 5 min of each other. Each time I answered no one said anything and the line disconnected.

This is a daily occurrence. I'm like you, I have clients all over the country so I have to answer each call, plus when I leave my office my calls are forwarded to my cell, so you can imagine how much my phone blows up.

the last few weeks it's been crazy. It did suddenly pick up with random BS numbers from allover the country.

Agree...I've been getting about 4 calls a day. Everyday. I immediately block the number but that does nothing.

guess I'm lucky. Haven't had a false call in several weeks. Only get maybe one a month.

I'm glad it's not just me. The past couple weeks I've easily gotten 2 or 3 a day. All over the country. Never had this problem before.

With all of the OT ballers on this site, surely one or more of you has instructed your butler / personal assistant / law clerk to contact the LA Public Service Commission with a complaint.

Seems like this would be right in their wheelhouse to issue some sternly-worded press releases about this matter.

Don't call you, don't call me, call that man behind the tree

If you put your clients number in your phone you will know it's them calling...All others don't answer and the block.

You wanna get some phone calls, just cancel your Directv service. I swear they call 2-3 times a week from different numbers

Said this in the other thread, but there are apps that you can download where people report numbers as spam callers to keep a list, and you can use the app to block the calls. It's more effective than trying to block each number individually because the scammers will just abandon that number and move on to calling from a new one.

This really has become a pretty unreasonable annoyance. It has been bad for me for months, but the spam blocker does help a lot.
