I just finished the couch to 5k program and I discovered that they also have apps that progressively guide you to do 100 pushups at one time. Thought it might be fun to start an ongoing thread that we can check in to keep ourselves accountable.

I'll be using an app called "100 pushup workout" by a company called shvagerfm. I picked this one because it lets you select how many pushups you can already do so you don't have to start at the same point as the fatties and women. I have an android so I'm not sure if that particular app is available on the Apple store, but there are plenty of other options. I know the same people who made couch to 5k have one as well. Or you can just look up a training plan online.

I plan on starting tomorrow. Who's in?

And that is a lot of extra weight.

I have the app Just 6 Weeks. I think it is the same thing. I bought it so it has all of the 100 ____ in one app. I am leaving for training June 15th. I'll join in.

Want to do the 100 Sit ups too?

Obviously a really fit person could easily do 100 in a row but most people would struggle to do one or two.

Eta:The average adult in America is pretty unfit. Get downvoted for stating a fact.

100 Correct push-ups can be a challenge , you are working about 60% of your body weight. Now if you do those bull shite chicken wing push ups....yeah..anyone can do that.

If it is so easy do 100 pushups and post it for the OT to see. Go ahead.....I'll wait.

There was a10,000 push/ups in a month challenge here a few years ago. I got to 7,000, and that was a ton.

I did it too....I believe I got around 3000. I took a break before drill and never got back into it. Basically broke up my push ups throughout the day averaged 300 a day.
