I use to play a lot of pool when I was at LSU in the 90's. Took a 12-15yr hiatus and now back into playing pool.

If so, where do you shoot?

Used to be an old pool hall here in Tuscaloosa that I used to frequent multiple times a week called T-Town Billiards. $3 per person per hour played. It was awesome... It was sold and turned into an Archibald's BBQ.

Haven't really gotten back into it since... But I would love to if there were a place like that again.

Usually everytime I go a bar with a pool table, have one friend who plays in a league.
I've had a few scary encounters too! My friend and I decided to take on two guys for 20 bucks, won, got challenged double or nothing, guys obviously better than us accidentally hit the 8 ball in,almost got murdered by his teammate and that was the last time I played for money. Shaningans circa 2009

I bought a pool table when I bought my first house. We played a lot for a month, then I never wanted to play pool again.

That game with the fifteen numbered balls is the devil's tool.

I play once a week. The best tables and players are at bayou billiards if you are in BR. Lacys in Chalmette is probably the best pool hall in the state and possibly the country.

I typically play when I'm at a bar. Once people start getting serious about it, I quit. Not trying to be all serious at a bar on a Friday night

Chalmette is a good 1.5hrs away. I would be there all the time if it was nearby.

I've got a friend that has a single-slate 9' table as well as a snooker table in her house. Love playing there.

Used to play at Cool River in Las Colinas all the time.

One of my friends is a badass but she's colorblind and has trouble seeing some of the solid balls on various colors of felt. That has to suck.

I stopped whey I quit drinking. For some reason, my game got better the more I would drink. I can't play well sober.

The apartment I live in now came with one. Shockingly it's a really nice 9 footer. Wayyyyy nicer than anything I've seen at a bar. Probably average 1-2 games a day since August.

Upstairs. Can't find anyone to play though. Taught both my girls how to play. They're 14 and 16 and pretty damn good. I haven't played much in awhile but I hear them up there playing a lot. Got them good at darts too.

I play my best games when I'm so blasted I think there's only 4 pockets on the table. Luckily friend with 2 tables also has 2 extra bedrooms.

It's a really nice place that's attracting some big name players for some big tournaments and 1 on 1 matches.

Yeah I heard it was nice. Certainly a big enough space for it. I used to parade across the street.

I like when you see a dude bring his own pool stick into a bar when there's not a tourney going on.

Either at my parents' house, or usually at Shamrock. Soon I'll have my table set up in my shed
