I have one with my brother and dad in it.

It's not daily or anything, but I guess you could consider it "ongoing."

I Don't like it because it eventually turns into conversations that don't involve or interest me and I keep getting texts about it. Thankfully, IOS was changed a couple of years ago to allow me to mute the conversation or leave it all together.

No, but I have one with my close friends.

Every once in a while we'll have one with my wife and in-laws but it doesn't last very long.

My wife and in-laws don't constantly keep it going, but they have a group text (that I am included in unfortunately) that they use to keep each other up to date with stuff. It's really annoying.

For example, her dad will text everyone "steaks at my house on Sunday" and her mom always has to reply "Yum" or "That sounds so good" like it wasn't her idea. She also gets pissed if you don't immediately respond to let her know if you are coming. It sucks.

Yes. But we all get along.

There's only activity maybe one day a week. It's convienient for emergencies, birthdays & anniversaries and stuff.

One with just siblings & another that includes mom.

Based on your comments over the last week, fatherhood is going to be a rude awakening for you.

Yes. We don't get to see each other often, but like to keep up. Mom, three sisters, and 1 brother. He definitely texts less.
