Anyone here have a FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) certification?

How demanding is the preparation? Did you actually take anything from it? It's not required I get it, but my company is willing to pay for it. On the flip side, I doubt they're willing to reduce my workload to accommodate it. TIA.

I've never heard of this cert. Do Financial Analyst or Certified Financial Planner.

(more people know what it is and, ultimately, that's all that matters when it comes to letters behind your name.)

Aren't these geared more toward investment analysis? It is also my understanding that these are more difficult and time consuming.

So, you just want some bullshite letters behind your name. Do the work and get certs that mater.

Months to years yes. So answer this: What do you do for a living? Why does your boss want you to do this?
