Seems to be a lot of commercials this year with beta men either having to watch football on the side (stupid bird watching commercial on ESPN radio) or having to make sure all chores are done around the house so they can watch the game (Lowes). Because if they don't do their chores, their wife won't let them watch their favorite team. There are other commercials but these two came to mind.

Makes me wonder how large this demographic is to warrant so many commercials.

Anyone's SO like this? Luckily mine either watches them with me or goes shopping when the Saints/Tigers play.

She knows she would be out on the street if she tried to pull something like that.

Some men need to earn their balls. While he's bending to her will, there is probably some other guy bending her over whether she wants it or not, and she loves him for it.

No because my wife is awesome.

She either watches with me or makes snacks for the games.

Uhh no. We freaking plan our lives together around football season. It's never a question of what we're doing on the weekend.

Now too much basketball makes her whine so I throw her a bone every now and then and wewatch a movie or something

Gives you something to do, gives her something to bitch about.

She asks me what I am watching, I say football and she says, oh and that's the end of discussion.

Sad to see so many put football over family time.

My wife said to me the other day "don't make me hate saturdays" because I wanted to make sure a zoo visit didn't interfere with watching the game. I told her simply and plainly that I watched CFB long before she was here and for her to get over it. I ask for a few Saturdays a year. That's it.

Is she giving you grief from the kitchen or did your beta arse let her out of there?
