Anyone here ever won a large sum from lottery?

The odds are so small but I can't help but to dream about hitting it big one day. Even a few hundred thousand would be life changing. If I could just pay off my home, i could retire 20 years earlier than plan. That's pretty monumental.

I've won maybe $50, I have a cousin that won one of the first lotteries in the state I think he won around 1 million before taxes. He kept working - good hard working guy

never even come close...in fact, I seldom even get one number to match.
I do however, think it is worth a couple of bucks just to think about what I would do if I were to win, so I buy one every few weeks.

My grandfather was one number short on the Powerball once and won $10K.
A cousin of mine hit $100+K progressive pot on the Hold 'Em table once.
Not life changing sums of money for either of them, though.

Won 47 dollars last drawing. 4 of 6 in la lotto. I have hit 5 of 6 in easy five and thats a hundred dollars. Other than that I havent won anything big.

A neighbor a long time ago won on of the first Louisiana lotteries. He had just kicked his hot whore wife out for fricking another dude.
He won and she somehow showed back up. He got busted months later with nose candy and wrecking his vette. Yeah, Denham Springs. Lol

When I was a kid my parents hit 5 of 6 numbers in the original Louisiana Lotto. Think they won something like $1500 but jackpot was $3 million. Got to go on family vacation to Disneyworld for the first time thanks to that

So my mom used to be a head start director like 15-20 years ago and had this black kid in her class whose parents were both in jail, lived with his aunt, etc. My parents would watch him a couple weekends a year basically the last 15 years. Take him all kinds of places for him and to help his aunt out, oh yeah he had 2 twin sisters like a year older. He was a a pretty good kid definitely had some issues but good.
Anyway, his 'aunt' won a $5 mil scratch off last year.

I got the power ball number a few times but nothing else. In Louisiana if you hit the power ball jackpot your name is made public. That pisses me off..I would have to leave the state.

Not entirely true. Your name is only made public if you're stupid enough to go to the Lottery office and claim the jackpot. You can create a legitimate smokescreen by creating a trust or L.L.C. to try to stay anonymous.
