Anyone here ever been into/through St. Clair County, Missouri
Posted by Pedro on 6/26/16 at 1:48 pm00
There's definitely great people here but good lord it's depressing. About 1500 people total over half of which are on government dependency, out in the middle of fricking nowhere.

Sure you aren't driving through southern Arkansas instead?

This.
Hit Arkadelphia and head north to Amity. That, my friend, is our country's bunghole.

There are about 10,000 people in St Clair County.
About 20% are below the poverty line. About 35% get some sort of assistance. But I wouldn't say half are govt dependent.
I buy lumber from sawmills in that area. It's beautiful country. Good, hard working people. Less than an hour from Kansas City. Very low crime rate. Great place to have a hunting/fishing lodge or a cattle ranch.
Sorry you're depressed. But look inward, not outward at your problems. My guess is that St Clair isn't what's bothering you.
TL/DR: you're an arrogant prick. Cheers.
K. It a pretty area there's just not much to do here. And I mentioned here's great people. Pretty much what I meant to say is I don't know why someone would want to live here. Just doesn't seem like there'd be much room for betterment at a place like this.
But yea I'm an arrogant prick so whatever.

Why'd you move to God's a-hole, Missouri?
These places exist all over the country, from California to New York.
