Anyone helped a friend who had fallen into the Marijuana lifestyle?

There is a guy I've become aware of who is more of acquaintence type or friend of a friend of a friend and it has come to light he has fallen deeply into the Mariguana culture. I mean spending hundreds a week on the stuff with paraphernalia of every kind...sleeping in and missing work and kids games. Skipped a family wedding to go to some drug featival.in the desert with a bunch of 20 year olds. It is getting desperate for his wife and kids now. He is 53. Please help. Has anyone ever created a website to help acquaintences?
