I realize this is a long shot but I had to try. Good friend has a house off Bluff road. Water is up to the sandbag wall. He is at work...He's a healthcare provider. I offered to go man the fort for him but I need a water pump. I've got a generator. Can be further than Gonzales, just put that for reference.

I wouldn't be too optimistic on getting a pump this late in the game. All of our pumps that were of no use and everyone I know already gave their pumps up to the people around to try to save homes.

I hope you find one. I also hope something good happens to you for trying to take care of your buddy's home while he cannot be there.

Good luck

Lowes on Siegen had a couple pallets of sump pumps as of 10:30 am.

Thanks to all who offered help! My friend's next door neighbor had a bought 4 sump pumps from Lowes. His house is several feet higher than my buddy's so he let us use one. Has an automatic on off plunger. The water had come up several inches in the last 4-5 hours and a good bit seeped through the sandbag wall, the pump drained it in less than 5 min. Gonna be a loooong night. Thanks abitaman, I'll bring you pool pump back tomorrow. Thanks Tigerdroppings, would not have happened without you guys. Prayers for BR and surrounding area. I may update this thread tomorrow. Good night
