but at 300 dollars.. just know the limitations. If used as a simple web browsing machine with little local storage requirements, I could see the purpose. I am sure it's web browsing performance is on par with the average arm tablet.
Nice. Yea, I'm not a huge anti-Apple person. It just isn't a brand that I'm willing to pay a ton of money for. I can get 3 chrome books for the price of one if necessary and probably still be ahead. More than likely I won't have a problem with even one.

The limitation I'm most worried about is not being able to use Office. If I open up a store for work I need it. If I don't then it is no worries. I'm leaning towards no on this one because that possibility will be real for me.

Nothing good right now on slickdeals.net, but keep checking the computer forums. It's not uncommon to find $300 laptops that will be more versatile than a chromebook. There's a $280 Toshiba laptop on there, but the hardware is very dated. Still may be a better option for you if you're in a rush.
