Anyone had the USPS route your package worse than this?

You'd think the most direct route from Minnesota to Louisiana wouldn't go through Guam.

They've screwed up a lot of my shipments, but none quite that bad.

It's cheaper to send it to Guam and Hawaii instead of direct. Something about the curvature of the earth.

You bought some cheap stuff that is actually coming from overseas but say they are American based on Amazon.

Not yet, apparently it just left Hawaii this morning after being shipped from Minneapolis/St. Paul on June 16.

Notice that the USPS claims that it was in their St. Paul facility before going to Guam. Stuff might be cheap and made anywhere, but it really doesn't make sense that the USPS would try to obfuscate its mail route when they don't know where it's made either.

There's more to consider. How fast was the plane going? If they go 500 mph vs 250 they'd burn half the fuel. Was there a giant treadmill for the plane in Guam?

My wife mailed a computer charger to her sister a couple weeks ago and when it arrived the box was empty. But resealed.
