If so did you go through your carrier or finance through Apple?

Trying to decide if Apple leasing plan is a better deal then the AT&T next? Can't get an answer on tech board so I came to the OT

If you are someone that wants a new phone every year, then go with the apple plan. If you are going to keep the phone for 2 or more years, I think you would be better on ATT Next.

I actually debated the apple plan as to have the AppleCare plus which is apparently very good, two accidental replacements.

For the 128gb I would save 300 dollars over a year instead of buying it outright. I am leaning towards just buying mine but I am waiting for the end of the year.

I just read an article about all the issues people are having getting approved for the apple upgrade plan. They do a hard pull on your credit and use your credit card. Some people in the article saying they have great credit with credit cards with 20k limits....and getting denied for apple plan at the store.

I'm gonna upgrade my phone but feel like I need special equations and charts and crap just to figure out the best option for me. I'm still grandfathered into my ATT unlimited plan so I'm still trying to decide the best option to keep my unlimited. I usually always get applecare but don't know it att's insurance is better. I think this is the epitome of #firstworldproblems ....I'm stressing over how to upgrade my phone

Got mine in yesterday morning. Have Tmobile, so I jumped a 5s to 6+s and gave my 6+ to my mom.

here is what im wondering, since i switched from a contract to the next plan with AT&T, my monthly fee went from $40 down to $15, saving me $25 a month

if i go and get the leased iphone from apple will i still get the $25 discount that the next plan offered?
