Anyone ever use Emeals?

I always hear Dave Ramsey talking about it and how it apparently saves you a lot of money when it comes to grocery shopping. You pick what you want recipes for such as low carb, etc.
They will then send you a weeks worth of recipes with shopping lists to feed however many people you need.
Anyone tried this?

Used it for a while a few years ago. It was great. I had to drop it because at the time they didn't have a meal plan for one option (the lowest was for two), and I got tired of having mountains of leftovers and I really didn't feel like doing the reduction math.
I really liked their by store option as well.

How does the by store thing work? I see Walmart and then "any other store"

I used the Walmart one, so I can speak to that. If it is a listed store (Walmart, whole foods, Costco, etc),the emeals folks do their research on what is generally on sale that week and plan your menu around the sale items. Obviously, not every Walmart has the same items on sale every week, but I'll say they did a damn good job of staying at about 75% accuracy on sales items.
They also plan meals based on what they know the store has. Walmart, for example, will have bags of frozen salmon whereas Whole Foods will have fresh.

I made a bunch of emeals recipes this week. I have had mostly success. Don't do the chicken wings in a crock pot. I did chicken tikka Marsala and it was awesome. Made them just did me while the wife was out of town. Most are good leftover.

Yea, when I decide it's time for a party of 2+, I'll likely join again. It was so easy, it made shopping easy, and it kept me on a varied diet.

I just got the app and started the trial but can't find out where to select what store you want to use. Any help?

Some friends of mine have begun using Blue Apron
for dinner meals.
You sign up and for $59, they deliver all of the ingredients needed for 3 meals a week for 2 people. And when they say all of the ingredients, they mean ALL. They say you only need salt, pepper and olive oil on hand. They give you step by step instructions with pictures to help you prepare the meals.
You can view the week's menu ahead of time and cancel if it doesn't appeal to you, are going out of town, don't want meals that week etc.
Looks interesting and the GF and I are considering trying it out. $59 a week for 2 people to eat 3 meals isn't expensive at all and the convenience of having all of the food delivered is great.
