I remember going with my ex and her little brother a few years ago. It was absolutely miserable, my socks and shoes were ruined, her brother's costume was gone by the 4th or 5th house and our cell phones along w/ my wallet were destroyed. I would only recommend it if you have somewhere to duck in between for a couple minutes if it gets really bad. If not, just stay in.

I can remember it raining a few times for Halloween as a kid. We either used umbrellas and just got wet or went to any one of the local churches in the area and got free candy at their "fall festivals" they normally hold on Halloween.

Anybody ever leave a cake out in the rain?

How does that even happen?

I don't remember trick or treating in the rain or otherwise. My parents didn't worship the devil.

A few years back we did it. It was terrible. We made it about 15 houses. Don't do it

Any city that didn't move it to last night is too dumb

I don't ever remember it raining, but I hate that Jefferson Parish left the option open by "recommending" people go on Friday. We took our kids last night, but I'm sitting here with a bowl of candy hoping no one comes tonight.

We lived way out in the parish and didn't do a whole lot of trick or treating. We went to Reformation Day parties at my church.
