Much cheaper to buy them online. I bought some from Tire Rack and had Burbank mount them and balance them. Probably saved $60/tire.

I've done it. Went to Tire rack. They shipped it to the auto shop. Went fine.

Try and find a shop that matches online prices. Some shops will won't "guarantee" or "warranty" the mounting of tires you don't buy from them. If you can buy from the shop (and they match prices) you may even get them mounted and balanced for free.

Had some shipped to my house a couple months ago for $600 a set (general grabber at2). Mounted and balanced for $70. Then last week I punctured a hole in one and spent $205 for one tire. So I saved around $140 total buying online. Plus they shipped overnight so I didn't have to wait.

Bought mine from place out of Missouri or Indiana or some place like that.. Got rims and tires.. They said the came mounted and balanced.. Came mounted but not balanced.. Also found a deal on the site for Buying 4 get the fifth tire free or buy 3 get 4th free.. It worked out to be a very good deal

tirerack.com is all you need. Ship the tires directly to the place that will install them.

Tirerack.com is for research.

Discounttiredirect.com is for buying.

I buy all tires on new offroad steelies each time.. after I sell my old tires and wheels for 300$ on craigslist....I basically just shaved an extra hundred off of my purchase price.

Why those tires out of curiousity?

Sometimes tirerack have good discounts as well.

Go to walmart - mount and balance is like $13 or so per tire. Cheapest place I found. Unless its custom or higher end rims I'd be fine with walmart.

if I had nice rims, I'd go to a tire shop where it'll run you 20-25 per tire.

Definitely saves you money. I think the continental DWS I wanted were $45/tire cheaper with buying online and including mount/balance at walmart than any store around the area. Ended up saving me a good $180

Based on my experiences you can usually find a local shop that will match or at least get close to online prices.

I've just always liked the way they looked. Not sure about the wear. Know anything better?
