Just found out I have to go there for work in July. Will be there and Aurangabad for two weeks.

Any tips besides don't drink the water.

Not Mumbai but Delhi and such.

Just don't be high strung, or the sensory overload of 20 million people might give you a heart attack.

Really not sure what advice you're looking for. You're there during Monsoon as well, so have some water passable footwear. Get your malaria meds and mosquito spray I suppose. I didn't have a problem with those and I was there during monsoon, but I took those steps

Masses of people don't bother me. I have grown accustomed to it with my NYC commutes. Most of my time will be spent at the hotel, client's office and plants. We will also have drivers to take us to the locations.

Is there anything I should see if I have some down time? I know there are some caves in Arungabad that I should check out. I will probably have limited down time so I want to hit the highlights.

Tripadvisor will probably have what you're looking for in that area.

Eat hot foods only, stay away from dairy and such. Bring some pepto, etc. Food is so damn spicy if you get it "Indian style. "

Oh, visit Leopolds restaurant, it's famous from a book. Shantaram. Never been but book is cool. Food could suck so this isn't a recommendation

I've been. I loved it. +1 on the shoes and socks. Bring plenty of socks. You can easily get swamp foot if you don't have water-proof shoes. pack an extra pair of socks with you wherever you go.

just go with an open mind and understanding that there are a ton of people and the culture is completely different than what you're used to...you'll enjoy it if you do that.

The hardest part for me was the beggars. Everywhere I went I took clothes/snacks to give to the kids.

You hould probably check out the Gateway to India...and the Taj Mahal Palace across the street. Most of my time in Mumbai was spent shopping!
