It appears as if someone has re-lit the Torch!

A residential tower in the United Arab Emirates’ world-famous Marina in Dubai has been engulfed in flames.

Civil defence officials said they had “successfully evacuated” the 337-metre (1,105ft) skyscraper, which has 676 apartments, and are now trying to bring the fire under control.

Onlookers have filmed the blaze at the Torch Tower, one of the world’s tallest residential building with 86 floors. It had been damaged in a fire in 2015.

I don't think I'd want to live there. I guess that's what happens when you use unskilled slave labor to build things.

Hopefully there's jet fuel involved so it won't be able to melt the steel beams.

Dubai is hot in August. Imagine the crime if they had New Orleans demographics.

That's simply not a good name for a tall building.

Didn't realize this is the tallest residential building in the world and the prices start at $500k euros for the simple 2 bedroom unit on the bottom floor.

The good news is the tower will fold into itself like a controlled demolition. That is what happens when towers catch fire.
