Anyone else subjected to Time Warner Cable?

I moved apartments a few months ago and went from Uverse (the tits) to TWC. There hasn't been one day where there hasn't been an issue. The guide RARELY works. My cable box won't turn back on after turning it off because it got stuck on an on demand screen. Their customer service people are genuine assholes. I've had this service for 3 months and can't find one good thing to say about it. Anyone else have to put up with this bullshite?

I wouldn't watch cable tv if it was free.

If you have the Samsung cable box, return it for a different one.
In general if there are any problems with the cable box, swap it out
And don't waste your time calling, stretch your legs and go to a location

Damn. I've been tripping out about moving out of my parents in the fall for this reason. We have uverse and it is as good as it gets. It's going to suck to go from the best to irrelevant miscellaneous package. I'll feel your pain soon.

I haven't had issues since my boxes were installed. Now I had all kinds of issues setting up my account and them giving me the wrong packages

My wife had twc when she lived in Orlando. Prayers sent. They are awful.

You have signal level problems. The picture might be fine, but if the guide won't load, you need a tech visit.

I have had most of the cable and sattelite services at one time or another and frankly, I don't see a whole lot of difference between them...
typically, whichever one has pissed you off lately is the worst and whichever one you have seen a cool advertisement or read about on a message board about is the best...
they all have basically the same programming for the same price and when you need service, they send you to the same overseas call center...

I've had Directv, Charter, AT&T, and now TWC. Never had any issues with the other three. TWC is on another level of horrible than the other three. The gap between them and Direct/AT&T is laughably large. I called AT&T for an error that I thought was on their end. Turns out it was my tv that was causing the problem. They gave me 3 free months of HBO for even thinking the issue was on their end.
TWC is the Spirit Airlines of cable companies.

They're all terrible dude. I just got a $300 bill from cox because they triple billed me for an installation.
Comcast is even worse.
Cable companies are why monopolies are bad.

Yep. I had TW for awhile and this was normally the case.
The problem is, you'll have to convince one of the techs to look at the line. When they finally look at the line and see the line is in bad shape they'll have to schedule another time to come back because they don't have enough time allotted to replace the line.
And you need to get a TW tech, not one of those "third-party" techs that only hook up the box and program the remote.

you have a bad box and need to get it changed out
its on you if you've dealt with this for three months.
