Anybody work as an uber driver?

Thinking about signing up to make a little extra cash while I hunt for a job. Any tips or advice from folks that are drivers?

Bring an ice chest with water bottles to give to the passengers.

Last I was told, they get 80% of the fare and it's only $10 a month to be a driver.

So I've already signed up. Just waiting on background check to finish up.
I'm gonna do it. Seems like an easy way to make a few grand while job hunting. We have a newer mini van which is very clean do I'll be using that. Very excited.

I'm still waiting on my Uber XL in Nola. Been at least a day now.

There's no fee to drive, at least here in Ohio. But columbus makes you get a licence every year which can be pricey.
