Anybody know of a cheap alcohol rehab place in Louisiana

I have a friend who may need to take about 3 months off. He thinks that it would be a great time to go to rehab for a couple months. He doesn't want to spend more than a few grand though. Anybody know any places?

There's a place called Reggie's out by LSU.

So he wants an inpatient rehab facility for about $1000/month? That wouldn't even cover rent, utilities, and food for most people outside of therapy.
Will his insurance cover any of it?

Does he have a job?
Believe it or not some of the better companies in the oil industries will offer short term disability insurance for someone going to rehab.
ETA: there are some places that will work with a patient like him. E.g. someone that has some cash and a viable income but can't pay fully.
Try Townsend in Scott LA.

Most rehab facilities have top notch security to make sure patients don't get out, but they don't have much security to prevent people from getting in.
Just have him sneak in and act confident like he belongs. It'll be weeks before they figure it out and by then he should be cured (for free!!).

A plane ticket to Saudi Arabia could be the answer

If he's drinking $20 worth of booze a day, he'll have about $600 more to chip in. If he's drinking less that that, he doesn't have a problem.

Townsend acquired Keystone Recovery in Scott, LA about 2 years ago so that they could offer in patient services.

Call 211. They will give you a list of places that accept your insurance or they can hook you up with places that are free or discounted based on income.
