I'm just curious about your experiences, writing process, etc.

How exactly did you go about getting it published? Or did you just pay for them to print/publish it for you through one of these book mills?

Looking to publish one in next couple years. Non-fiction, technical reference manual. Thanks.

My grandmother wrote a book. Paid someone to publish it and provide copies. It was a historical book.

I can't divulge. I wish I could but I can't. I know it would sell a few thousand copies just from need.

They have been trying to get me to write a technical manual for years here at the State but I've refused to because they'd try to claim "ownership". At LSU, they can claim anything you produce while under employment. Same with State agencies. (for things having to do with your job or industry).

I don't expect it to sell a whole bunch but it would be published under my name.
