I sent an email from my gmail, yahoo and work email and none of them got through.
I sent a message from my alumni acct to gmail and it did go through, but the reply did not.
I too use this as my primary email account and hopefully its just a temporary problem with the DNS or something.
Appreciated.

Just checked. Yep.
And yes, I used my @alumni.lsu.edu address to get Prime discounted.

Cool, so nobody has had any issues with any non-Gmail accounts? That might be a Gmail issue, which would be optimal.
I'm guessing it said that @alumni.lsu.edu could not be found?
ETA I'm not tech savvy in the least so if anyone can or wants to shed light on what this might be, it would be much appreciated.

Not saying it is the problem but LSU just completed a new DNS management system. It could be that their new system got the wrong/old mx record.

I did an lookup of thier DNS and they currently have several errors right now. Letting them know they have an issue should get the ball rolling to get it fixed. However, I don't really know who maintains this address whether it be GROK or somebody the alumni association outsources.
The lookup didn't return any mx records so yeah this could be a possibility.

If you compare the .lsu.edu and lsutaf.org you'll see the alumni.lsu.edu records do match even though they are all on office365
You can thank Bobby Jindal for this. The state budget cuts have absolutely lead to a massive loss of talent for LSU ITS and each survivor is doing the job of three, sometimes four people due to positions being left vacant.
