Passing thru your parish 50 years ago and saw this sign:
Bayou LaFourche?
I could never find it on any map since then. Can anyone Google map a location link here?.....thanks.

Thanks for your great answer. What I'm looking for might be too small to know where to look. That's why I asked for someone in the area.

You are looking for a sign on a map?

I don't get what you need here.

its Bayou Lafourche. It connects the Beouf River to the Red River. It's also a border between Ouchita Parish and Richland Parish.

Or are you taking about the Claire Chenault sign?

What about this location has imprinted in your head for 50 years?

Is that where you hid the money?

Coincidentally, I know where this is because it's exactly where our hunting camp used to be. It's where Bosco Lane crosses Bayou Lafourche. Turn off Hwy 165 between Monroe and Columbia and keep going straight a couple of miles, and you're right there. Here's the Google maps link LINK

I understand. I'm from Ouachita Parish and when I think Bayou LaFourche I'm thinking of south Louisiana.

Not me, this bayou is used to flood a lot of duck property. You cross it past the old Guide plant East of Monroe on I-20.

Yes. Salt Lake is just on the other side of that bridge.
