No but I had a friend who preferred the shells. We once split the cost of a bag of peanuts at a high school football game. I ate the peanuts and he ate the shells. I am NOT joking!

No I don't eat the shell. I eat them peeled and boiled the way God REALLY intended. Why else would he have given us thumbs and the knowledge to build a fire?
