Any of you ever do the DISC personality assessment at work?

Same here. It nailed my personality traits, strengths, and weaknesses.

Took a quick free assessment. Primary type is Dominant, secondary Cautious. Outgoing/task-oriented.

My dad is primary Cautious and secondary Dominant, so I assume that just means I talk too much.

EDIT: The specific percentages they gave on this profile were based on the type of questions asked; they asked the same question 12 times with four options (relating to each of the four quadrants), and asked for the responses to which you most and least relate.

Dominant: 10/12 most responses, 0/12 least.
Influence: 0/12 most responses, 6/12 least.
Support: 0/12 most responses, 4/12 least.
Cautious: 2/12 most, 2/12 least.

So... I guess 83/17 D/C?

Yeah, about a year ago. Forgot the exact words, but I know I'm a very high I, and in fact tested the second highest you can get. Next I got a decent D and S in about equal numbers, and finally tested about as far from a C as you can possibly get. I was concerned with getting canned with the results on how little C I was.

I think I was high in Dominance, next was Steadiness, the other two were tied for last.

Not sure what good it did for me other than not having to work for a few hours.

recently took a different one but matching personality to job roles and not wildly different in concept....

im probably out of place as far as personality type in my current position.... and i scored the highest for it the company had received nationally.... i probably shouldve scaled back my answers so as not to draw attention

I'd say about 70/30 C/D

This was where they plotted me on the graph...I was on the edge of the circle, close to the D/C boundary

Do you what it means to be towards the outer edge of the circle versus the center?
