Any of you do the Dollar Shave or Harry's membership?

Does Harry's only offer one type of blade? (looks like a 5 blade head). I love the 3,4,5 blade heads in open areas but they don't seem to work as well in the nooks and crannies. If I'm reading it correctly Dollar Shave offers a dual blade but not Harry's.

Pros/Cons of these memberships? Obvious pro is you don't have to go to the store.

Did the dollar shave for a few months a while back. I'm not a daily shaver so it wasn't for me but its convenient for sure.

I'm a Dollar Shave member. No complaints. The set of five razors show up every 24 days or so. Cheaper than retail and I always have extra razor blades to use. They sent two razors on the original order and the wife uses the other one for her use.

Harry's offers one type of blade which is the 5 blade head. I like their razors and shave gel. Good product and very reasonable.

I just order new stuff when I need it, bc I don't shave everyday.

Switch to an old school safety razor and set up, Razor and soap for $14.00 and you can get over 100 blades for $9 bucks. I went retro and love it.

I use Harry's. Decent razor but I prefer the Gillette Fusion (my normal choice)and I'm starting to think the extra $10-$15 a month in savings isn't worth it. I love the convenience though.

It is around $9 a month or something like that. No more than $10.

And how many cartridges do you get per month?

Gillette also has one of those shave clubs. I received one of the proglides in the mail. One of their 5 blades lasts pretty much a whole month. Really smooth shave. But at about $5 per blade it's a bit pricey.

I use Harry's razors. I didn't sign up for a plan. I just buy a bunch of blades when I need them. The blades are solid, maybe not as good as my Gillette fusion but close. Close enough for the money you save.

No. Might consider it if I had a legit beard but can't grow that much in.

I was a DSC member for a while (probably about 8 months) then I realized they just buy it from Dorco, so I cancelled my DSC membership and buy directly from Dorco to save money.

Dollar Shave razors kind of sucked for me, messed my neck up pretty good. I think going to the store and getting a bic disposable type deal is better and about the same price for me - not the nice turbo or mach whatever metal handled shits.

Dollar Shave club razors are cheap and flimsy. It's a good thing you basically get a new one every week. You won't get the same mileage out of those as a Gillete razor.
